Bhoomitrasena FMNC (ഭൂമിത്രസേന)
The Department's primary objectives revolve around the implementation of policies and programs aimed at conserving the natural resources and biodiversity of the State, as well as preventing and mitigating pollution. Throughout these endeavors, our Department is firmly guided by the principles of sustainable development and the improvement of human well-being.
In partnership with the Directorate of Environment & Climate Change, the Bhoomitrasena Club at Fatima Mata National College, Kollam, has launched an extensive program with the goal of inspiring the younger generation to embrace a more eco-friendly future. By instilling a sense of responsibility and knowledge among students, the club aims to foster a deep commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
"To inspire and educate students about critical environmental issues such as habitat destruction, pollution, deforestation, and climate change, while fostering a commitment to sustainable practices in their daily lives, thereby contributing to a more environmentally conscious and responsible future."
